Coming into their 3rd year anniversary as a Di Bella Coffee Cafe, Bean Counter Café in Melbourne’s Fairfield is perfectly situated opposite the Fairfield Station. Perfect for those who need a quick caffeine hit before boarding their morning train and facing the rest of the world. Bean Counter is well known among the locals and is often quoted “The Locals, Local”, it is very children friendly and has a well equipped play area out the back with toys and a chalkboard- a parents weekend sanctuary.

The coffee has been described as “Premium – a smooth and inky blend, usually pulled from the Wega by the big boss. A short macchiato will be dark and brooding, with an edgy acidity and a creamy, viscous finish that is nicely enhanced by well-textured milk”.

The staff are friendly, the décor features original artwork which are loaned by the gallery upstairs, great coffee and an all day breakfast menu – What more can one ask for?
